English to German translations [PRO]
Bus/Financial - Insurance / insurance company description | | English term or phrase: catastrophe retrocessional | Rated Reinsurance and Insurance, and Collateralized Property Catastrophe Retrocessional. (this is what they do)
Also please advise regarding 'rated' in this context. This is just a small paragraph about an insurance company in a larger context that is much more familiar to me. Thanks for any help! |

Retrozession oder �bersetzt Weiterr�ckversicherung ist die R�ckversicherung der R�ckversicherer. Gro�e Risiken (Einzelrisiken, gef�hrdete Sparten oder Best�nde) werden durch R�ckversicherung auch der R�ckversicherer auf oft unz�hlige Risikotr�ger verteilt.
Beispiel:
Nach einem gro�en Wirbelsturm in den USA treffen bei einem deutschen R�ckversicherer Schadenmeldungen von japanischen R�ckversicherern �ber diesen Sturmschaden ein, weil diese amerikanische Versicherer r�ckversichert haben und Teile dieses Risikos wieder an deutsche R�ckversicherer weitergegeben haben.
Die Retrozession ist bei R�ckversicherern ein eher ungeliebtes Gesch�ft, weil es oft nicht mehr erkennbar ist, welche Art von Risiken letzten Endes hinter einer Retrozession stecken. Damit ist das Gefahrenpotenzial schwer einsch�tzbar. Die Ausnahme sind allerdings fakultative Risiken, die durch besondere Kennzeichnung auch in der Retrozession noch erkennbar sind.

Rated kenne ich in dem Zshg. eigentlich nur als "bewertet" od. mit einem "Rating"
"Triple A-rated reinsurance"
