Kippsicherung
German to English

debris hopper
Kippsicherung eines Schmutzbehälters (debris hopper)- Räumfahrzeug.
Eigentlich handelt es sich ja nur um die "safety bar", gibt es dafür einen Oberbegriff?
Danke!

safety rod
I know this as safety rod, I would not use something as elaborate as tilting protection as it would imply a smarter device.

: just wondering, is this the same as a "roll bar"?

: I don't think it has to be really smart - it can be a purely mechanical lock for securing the hopper in the tilted position.

tipover prevention lock
I'd call it, but I guess various ways of describing it would be acceptable. Tilting suggests a 'leaning' state, while 'kippen' here hints at 'emptying out' or 'spilling' the contents

tilt securing device
A "Kippsicherungsstrebe" is a tilt securing strut, eg. for holding the hopper in place while it is discharging/charging. I don't think "safety bar" is specific enough.

anti-tipping or safety lock
to tip means to overturn, so it is better than to tilt. In English I would use safety lock only, which is comprehensive enough.
