From a divorce decree
Dear colleagues:
I am struggling with the above-named term. It's from a divorce decree, and there's no context. It's a handwritten note next to the official's signature. A second version on the same document reads "recibo cancelada," which I presume is a typo, as this appears to refer to fees that have been received by the official. I am also quite puzzled by the V-4. Perhaps this refers to the number of copies that have been issued? Or the amount paid? This is a document from Panama, so the currency is the balboa. Thus, "V" would not make sense to denominate the currency.
I have tons of Mexican documents issued to me (I grew up there), but I have never seen this particular turn of phrase. Any help/comments/suggestions greatly appreciated!
All the best,
Judy

This is likely it.
Note from asker:
I agree -- does not seem to refer to a date. @patinba got it right under "discussion entries" --> the solution is.... ventanilla. Thanks so much! I cannot grade that answer because it has not been submitted as an answer. |

: Of course, it could be anything, but "en" indicates place rather than time.

Thanks so much, but there's a different date on this doc, so I don't think that's it. This is a tough one indeed.
