But you would know from your context if it was put to an end, or greatly slowed down, or went back to its original rate. Distribution trend, maybe that could be said, .... putting an end to the increased sharing of wealth in the earlier years.... "Puso freno" could mean that it stopped it entirely or that it significantly slowed it down. I think "curbed" covers both possibilities. "Wealth distribution trend" is the usual translation for "tendencia distributiva", meaning how wealth is distributed; the word "wealth" should be included. |
