Bio
As a French Canadian speaker from Quebec City, no one around me spoke English as a first language. However, learning the language proved interesting to me because I wanted to understand the Nintendo video games I played.
Later on, I got hooked on sci-fi and medieval fantasy literature, and further down the road, I started teaching English to Quebec's college students. After graduating from Sociology, living and Edinburgh, UK, and then returning to practise journalism, I decided to undertake a Certificate in French-English Translation at McGill University.
I am currently enrolled in a Master's in Translation and Terminology at Laval University and have lectured several courses over the last two years. I'm a jack-of-all-trades when it comes to Translation and I love tackling new projects to expand my views on life :-)
