Translation - English “The population is increasingly aging. In Europe, the over 65s represent more than 30% of the total population. If France is well placed in Europe concerning its overall life expectancy, which was in 2014 according to INSEE, 85.5 years for women and 79.3 years for men, it is not the same for life expectancy without disability, which is about 63.5 years for women and 61.9 years for men; figures that tend to decrease further. Aging is indeed associated with a number of conditions, liable to cause gait disturbance, and therefore a loss of motor autonomy with, in many cases, frequent falls.

Voice Overs. Having worked as a Legal Secretary means that I have accurate touch typing skills of 85 words per minute, which means I can quickly return translation projects to you, using my preferred CAT tool SDL Trados.
Born in London, I have over 17 years of experience working in the legal environment, starting as a Legal Secretary, moving into IT as a Helpdesk Analysis and then finally as an IT Trainer.
My command of the English language is a result of my working life, being exposed to lawyers for many years has had its influence on my own expression of English, and living in France for 15 years as strengthened my capacity to work with the two language pairs. It has also broadened my experiences, reflected in the different areas in which I have worked for translation projects e.g. IT, Legal, General, Technology, Architecture, Medical, Retail, Websites...
Dynamic, motivated and extremely professional, available at short notice, reliable and driven by deadlines and professionalism, I look forward to embarking on this new adventure based on trust and total confidentiality.
