Having worked for 15 years in communication and advocacy in
the health field, including 3 years at an international level, I had the
opportunity to regularly interact with UN agencies and other international
partners. Technical documents from these platforms are often exclusively in
English. Over the years, I have had to translate several documents (or parts of)
to facilitate the work of Francophone partners. I started my own business, and
I had the opportunity to translate documents for international agencies. The
demand for technical translations in the health field being however limited, I have also extended my services to more general topics.

Holder of a Master's degree in Communication, I went to school in an English system, before joining a French university. My work and
my regular travels have allowed me to mingle both with the French and English speaking
professional world. Although French is my mother tongue, I lived for a few
years in English speaking countries, making me perfectly bilingual.

Ayant travaillé
durant 15 ans dans la communication et le plaidoyer dans le domaine sanitaire,
dont 3 ans à un niveau international, j’ai eu l’opportunité de côtoyer régulièrement
les agences Onusiennes et autres partenaires internationaux. Les documents
techniques émanant de ces plateformes sont souvent exclusivement en anglais. Au
fil des années, j’ai donc été amenée à traduire plusieurs documents ou des
parties de documents, afin de faciliter le travail des partenaires
francophones. Je suis maintenant à mon propre compte, et j’ai eu l’occasion
de traduire des documents pour des agences internationales. La demande pour les
traductions techniques dans le domaine sanitaire étant cependant limitée, j’étends
aussi mes services à des thématiques plus générales.

Titulaire d’une
Maitrise en Communication, j’ai suivi une scolarité dans un système anglophone,
avant d’intégrer une université française. Mon travail et mes déplacements réguliers
m’ont permis de côtoyer le monde professionnel à la fois francophone et
anglophone. Bien que le français soit ma langue maternelle, j’ai vécu quelque années
dans des pays anglophones, me rendant ainsi parfaitement bilingue.
