- Citrato neutro de amônio – CNA: dissolver 370g de ácido cítrico mono hidratado cristalizado, C6H8O7.H2O, em 1500 mL de água destilada e adicionar 345 mL de hidróxido de amônio, NH4OH, p.a., com 28 a 29% de NH3. Esfriar e medir o pH. Ajustar o pH para 7,0 com hidróxido de amônio 1 9 ou com
solução de ácido cítrico a 100 g/L. Determinar a densidade, que deve ser de 1,09 à temperatura de 20ºC, adicionando água, ou ácido cítrico, se necessário. Guardar a solução em frasco hermeticamente fechado.
Verificar, semanalmente, o pH acertando quando necessário

- Neutral ammonium citrate - NAC: Dissolve 370g of crystallized citric acid mono hydrate C6H8O7.H2O in 1500 mL of distilled water and add 345 mL of ammonium hydroxide, NH4OH, (Analytical Grade), with 28 to 29% of NH3. Cool and measure the pH. Adjust the pH to 7.0 with ammonium hydroxide or with a 1 9 citric acid solution to 100 g/L. Determine the density, which should be 1.09 at 20°C, adding water, or citric acid if necessary. Store the solution in a tightly sealed bottle.
Check weekly, adjusting the pH when necessary.
