Graduated from a Multilingual Foreign Translation Masters degree (English – Spanish) with honours, in the University of Lille III, I always try to focus on two activities: translation and computer science.
In 2005, I graduated from a National French Computer Diploma called C2I level 1.
I am computer literate (Pack Office) and I am able to use CAT tools like Trados 2007, SDLX, Systran, Similis and subtitle softwares like Ayato or Subtitle Workshop.
Thanks to various stays in Spain and United-Kingdom (especially two two-month internships in host families), I was totally immerged in the foreign culture and language. These were really rewarding experiences, as a professional and a personal point of view.
Except being particularly fond of languages and new technologies, I am also a passionate of antique civilisations, especially Greek and Roman civilisations and French Classical Literature. What I like in translation is to decompose the sentence to extract all the meanings of a word and to learn new things every day. That’s why I already wanted to be a translator in high school.
