Italian term

conoscenza/conoscibilita

Italian to English Law/Patents Law: Contract(s) confidentiality agreement
from a contract of employment:

il dipendente si impegna a non comunicare, anche solo parzialmente o indirettamente, ad alcun terzo [e suddette informazjoni, nozioni, dati, notizie, circostanze eia fatti e a non porre in essere alcun comportamento - attivo o omissivo - che possa permetteme o agevolarne ***la conoscenza (o la conoscibilita)*** ad opera di terzi.

I'm struggling with the correct distinction in English between these two terms

known/knowable - disclosed/made available

IMO the English sounds a lot more natural if you change the sentence around and use adjectives or verbal phrases or past participles rather than nouns

Not sure which terms exactly you'd use in this kind of an agreement though

Italian term (edited): conoscenza/conoscibilità

knowledge / knowability

The difference is between knowledge and the potential for knowing something.

awareness/knowable

another suggestion:

conoscenza (sapere) = awareness
conoscibilita = (being) able to know
Example sentence:

one's awareness.../ or being able to know...
