German to English Marketing Automotive / Cars & Trucks
Kantige Linienführung mit flacherer Frontpartie als ... (another car)
This is describing a sport coupé. Can anyone offer a translation of the whole phrase?

angular lines

The Grand Cherokee's prime competitors--Explorer and GM's Chevrolet Blazer/GMC Jimmy twins--have gone for more rounded lines in their most recent redesigns, giving them all a more contemporary, aerodynamic appearance. Grand Cherokee, however, has maintained the angular lines and boxy shape even through its latest restyling.

long answer

I recently bought a new car, and my husband and teenage children were really outdone b/c I bought the car with the rounder edges instead of the one with the sporty BMW-like design with the squared-off edges.
I might use something along the lines of "sculpted" for kantig.
See the web sites below:
(1) Galant lines are sleek yet there are sculptured lines that are not present on some more egg-like shapes. The corporate nostrils are less evident, and the rear lights have lost the Klingon battle cruiser shape now that Taurus adopted similar layouts. If anything, there is a hint of the BMW look in the front, a not inappropriate comparison when the handling and spirited driving is considered.

sharp-edged lines and lower nose

The leading exponents of the new, more angular trend in design are Ford, whose Focus features what they call "leading edge" design. You could try looking at stuff on the Focus to get the new buzz words.
