Italian term or phrase: numerazione in decade 7
Hi folks
Any telecoms wizards out there?
I think this refers to a 10-digit telephone numbering system for Internet access, wherein the first three digits are a code starting with 7. But I can't think of a quick or acceptable way of saying that in English.
TIA

Thanks Grace and David. I had more or less reached the same conclusion, but your research and confirmation is most helpful. Thanks also to Mafaldadec and endorsers various.

(10 digit Internet access numbers starting with 7)

Explanation:
I know it sounds rubbish, but If anyone is going to understand it ...
It's not a 7 digit number. Look:

Connessione in decade 7 tramite 709.000.7396.
www.freepass.it/numerazione.htm

At a pich I would follow Grace's suggestion, but explain what it is anyway in brackets.

Actually, I think you should use the term \"Decade 7\", as it\'s not just a number change, the tariffs are also different.
