I find a meaning for 'registro' as 'inspector' among the other connotations. If 'operaciones registrales' were 'oversight duties' then, when the subject found a breach of contract, he would be empowered to 'renounce the other terms of it', to 'put other contracts before his obligations under this one' or to 'preserve the status (rango) of his company as a party to the contract. :)) I'm not really joking with you. I confess I don't know what it means, but this phrase as a unit has the sound of boilerplate legaleze that is written into all such contracts in any language. There will be a phrase in English that's a lot shorter than what I just suggested. I hope the discussion sparks some ideas in your mind. Happy typing. |
