Describes a table top - is alveolare some sort of plastic? Or does it imply a honeycomb shape? Help!

the one which attracted my attention was "pannello alveolato" = hollow panel
tamburato is an adjective associated with wood ex: legno tamburato=veneered wood
alveolare can also translate=cellular
you may find the answer combining these pieces of information

I think this is the usual definition for this type of wood structure (more commonly used to make doors, but obviously also applicable to a table).

"alveolar"

According to Webster's New Collegiate Dictionary, "alveolar" means "of, relating to, resembling, or having alveoli. "Alveoli" are small cavities or sockets.
