Well, Blandina, what I mean with "Ziffer" is "Kennziffer" which is quite often used to identify the classes to which people belong.

But Ziffer just means "number" and the problem is not solved, in my opinion. Shirleys answer is unfortunately somewhat different from her second explanation. I think now that 户号 means something like level or grade here. I'll ask the moderator how to solve this problem (answer and explanation are not the same) and thank you all for this discussion!

Blandina, when Shirley's explanation could be the case, the first column might be understood as "Ziffer" and the second "Kt.-Inhaber".

Wenjer, yes. There is a third column which tells the amount of shares these person hold. So I think Shirleys explanation is right.
Malcolm, there is no room for more digits. So this is no option, unfortunately.

Does it look like there is room for more digits after the 1s, etc.? I'm thinking maybe they have all been truncated at the first digit for some reason.

Are there some other columns, except the first column of numbers and the second column of names? The other columns may be decisive to decipher the meaning of the table and thus the names of the columns.

There is a table with the said members. First column is 户号 with the said numbers, second column is 户名 with the names of the members and their function. So out of 8 members, the first 5 members have the 户号 1. Probably because they have the same function (representatives of the company)?
