this term refers to the infant who reaches the age of six monthes and is able to eat food

in the past the arabs used to call the little goat (jafar) when it stops sucking milk and start to eat and this word became also attributed to the human children who are old enough to eat. the word can also describe the fat boy.

Gholam Jaafar/Jaafar's boy

this could either be a name and surname, or it could mean Jafaar's boy, servant, slave.

A healthy, sturdy & plump boy

This term has many senses in Arabic, but here it means sound, strong and full. It is widely used in the ancient Arabic literature to describe children even in more advanced ages. I guess the adjective "fat" cannot be used as the English equivalent of this term since it denotes overweighting.
