To Roald and all,
The text is referring to a unmodulated carrier wave, and therefore \"blurred\" would not be appropriate: You\'d only use \"blurred\" for images (on anything visual)... unless you were maybe using it metaphorically, which wouldn\'t apply in this case :0)
The subject is Radar Jamming, and how the wave is affected by the \"korrelator\" - and as the signal is not totally lost, ie. waves are still received (but are now in the form of noise (or \"forringet signal\")), I would consider the term \"scrambled\" to be appropriate.
\"Tværes ud\" sounds a bit like slang, but I think what is meant here, is \"smeared\", and the term for \"smeared radio waves\" would be \"scrambled...\"
Please also try the search \"radar scramblers\" on www.google.com
Hope all this is of use :0)
Kind regards,
Sus

I\'ve come up with another one: \"distorted\"
(hopefully that\'ll be the last from me on this subject :0))
Try \"distorted radio signal\" search on Google (with or without the quotation marks)

is crushed

: I agree that "blurred" would pretain to an image only, didn't read the question thoroughly enough, sorry!

David, when I talked with air control yesterday, and posed your question to him, he suggested using the word \"smeared\" or \"blurred\".

warped
The text seems to suggest that the image is pulled out of shape or blurred.
