Italian term or phrase: a blocco
Contexte: imaginez un plateau rotatif, faits de différentes trouées dans lesquelles on insère des ressorts. Ces ressorts sont comprimés par un axe vertical jusqu'à ce qu'ils atteignent leur hauteur solide (toutes spires "collées", on dit aussi).
Voilà ce que fait une machine d'essais de charge, sur des ressorts de compression... mais là j'ai le terme "a blocco" qui peut prendre différentes significations... et je ne crois pas que ce soit "à bloc"!

Asker: Je me demande si je n'ai pas affaire à un "tic" courant en italien, parfois aussi télégraphique que l'anglais: entretemps j'ai avancé de 2 pages, et j'utilise souvent "longueur à bloc". Je parie sur "Ajustement à longueur à bloc", ou "au point de longueur à bloc"... le fabricant semble un adepte du glissement sémantique!!! Let's wait...
