We usually place the adjectives before the nouns they modify in English.

Nouns are not made plural when funcioning as an adjective - so \"sugar\" would have no \"s\". Of course, in the rewritten format, \"nicotine\" also functions as an ajective and consequently has no \"s\".

\"tobacco(s) can certainly be plural if the context so demands and you are not talking about \"tobacco\" in general.

Thank you very much for your help. It was the end of the translation so I wasn't 100% with all my senses, hehe. However, sugars can take plural though in this particular case, in the answer you suggested it wasn't needed.
