Hola, estamos traduciendo un artículo sobre limpieza de un sofá y nos sale la siguiente frase

Explanation:
Los zócalos y rodapiés protegen la pared. Aquí estamos hablando de un sofá, de la parte que hay por debajo de los cojines, que queda detrás de las piernas cuando alguien se sienta.

  -> Disculpe. He preguntado a mi marido (un ingeniero español, profesor, de 60 años) qué nombre se da a este parte de un sofá, y ésta ha sido su respuesta. Donde yo vivo, zócalo y rodapié hacen referencia a la tira que hay entre el suelo y la pared.
