: Although that's the standard term for the expression when used 'normally', I can't help feeling it doesn't quite correspond to the sort of language usually used in this 'industry' (not that I've ever looked, you understand...)

Discussion
Generally, 'hot and bothered' means one is perhaps harrassed, over-worked, hence 'hot' (perspiring) and 'bothered' (stressed, troubled, etc.)
However, in this particular field of activities, the expression has become synonymous with 'hot' (= sexy) and 'bothered' (= excited, eager for sex, ...)
So the general meaning might be something like « chaude et (sur)excitée » — I'll leave you to do your own research as to the sort of slang terms used in the 'industry'
Research tip: there are loads of websites out there on this sort of subject ;-)
PS: 'sexy amateurs' is really a separate term in its own right, and if that is really what is giving you trouble here, then might I suggest you post it as a separate question, in line with KudoZ rule 2.3?
