1. A neigborhood az első mondatra nagyon jó megoldás, szerintem ne lelkizz rajta. (Ja, különben brit vagy amerikai angol a célnyelv?)
2. Én itt a korábban javasolt "local market"-ra szavaznék, szerintem ez illik leginkább a mondatba.

A "catchment area" definíció szerint helyes, de szerintem leginkább egészségügyi intézmények, iskolák esetében használják, legalábbis itt az USA-ban. Több szemeszternyi marketing tanulmányaim alatt sem találkoztam a kifejezéssel üzletek, szupermarketek esetében.
Nekem a "radius" személy szerint nem tetszik, mert nem érzem benne a népességre/lakosságra való utalást, valahogy nagyon általános. Akkor már inkább a "catchment area". De lehet, hogy ezzel csak én vagyok így...
