Exporting a single Sheet

Engineering Base provides a number of different formats for exporting sheets.

To export a single sheet from Visio

Open the sheet in Visio.

On the shortcut menu, click Save As... .

This opens the Save Sheet As dialog.

In the File name box, type a name for the file.

In the Save as type box, click the format you want.

Click Options... , if you want to export to PDF or DWG/DXF.

This opens the Sheet Export Options dialog.



Exporting to PDF format, click Color as black below PDF Settings, if the drawing color is to be exclusively black.

Exporting to DWG/DXF format, click Color as black below AutoCAD Settings (DWG/DXF), if the drawing color is to be exclusively black.

Exporting to DWG/DXF format, click Explode blocks below AutoCAD Settings (DWG/DXF), if in the export file blocks are to be dissolved.

Exporting to DWG/DXF format, click No fill shapes below AutoCAD Settings (DWG/DXF), if in the export file shapes are to be filled.

Exporting to DWG/DXF format, click Shared bitmaps below AutoCAD Settings (DWG/DXF), if into the export file identical bitmaps are to be exported only once.

Click Save.
