: il faudrait dire: valeurs moyennes disproportionnées, sinon disproportionnée ne veut rien dire, il faut que ce soit par rapport à quelque chose
remarque: on nous demande de traduire averaging et non pas toute la phrase.

la façon dont vous le traduisez montre qu'il est nécessaire de traduire toute la phrase

: that is what seems to be said; the only small fly in the ointment is that it sounds like total nonsense - how would anyone calculate an average of several pieces of software??? If something sounds like utter nonsense, I would consider there IS a problem..

je ne vois pas le problème....désolé que ça échappe à vos entendement..

Discussion
Without that it stay total nonsense. Even if several averages are being calculated, what would be a discrepancy? Between what and in in relation to what?
As it is, trying to translate this ST is like trying to translate "consideration" without knowing if it's part of a contract or a discussion about good manners.
In the case of several agents, there are several series of data. You can compute an average for each serie of data -> several different averages. (the average is not on the piece of software but on the data it delivers).
My understanding is that there is a discrepency between these several averages.
What would be a "proportionate" average? Given a series of values, there's only one possible average, so a disproportionate/proportionate average sounds like proper raving.
AFAK "monitoring agents" are pieces of software that are doing the "monitoring" of various network components.
What would be the point of "averaging" monitoring agents? How would anyone calculate the average of several pieces of software?
You need the give a full sentence and also explain what is "CDN" - I'm 99% sure that here "averaging" is not about calculating any average.
