Minutes of a Review Child Protection Conference held under the Interagency Procedures of the Luton Safeguarding Children Board.

• Tugçe and Buse self-referring themselves appropriately, which is positive
• Tuğçe very young to be taking anti-depressant and Diazepam
• A complicated family situation and this does not seem to be progressing fast enough, more so from the children’s point of view
• Concern that Tuğçe took an overdose and is on medication
• Attempts to engage Mr Mert in a constructive planned manner and for him to liaise with social worker about this
• Adult Team to be involved for cognitive assessments
• Mrs Mert to complete English course
• Mrs Mert to inform core group about any relationships
• Serious issues remain for the children. A Child Protection Plan is recommended
