I'm translating this bank statement showing transactions of financial account called "Dinero Creciente" at Santender in Mexico (https://www.santander.com.mx/personas/santander-digital/dine... From what I understand it's a premier savings account. These two items appear under transactions:
- LIQUIDACIÓN INVERSIÓN CRECIENTE INVERSIÓN VISTA A CHEQUES
- DEPOSITO APERTURA INVERSIÓN CRECIENTE CHEQUES A INVERSIÓN VISTA
"Deposit Apertura" seems to be referring to the deposit to open a new account. "Cheques A Inversión Vista" makes it seem like moving from Checking to Demand Deposits (?). As mentioned in other question, Inversión Creciente appears as like another account within Santender or another institution. This whole item appears under Withdrawals (rather than Deposit). I fail to see the connection.

opening balance with deposits
I think Seth's understanding of the account positions is correct. The first line mentions liquidation which probably corresponds with withdrawals from the account, making an increasing negative value. The second line has an opening deposit with other investments to follow, which make an increasing positive value. The investments are seen.
