Swedish term

Underhåll

Swedish to English Medical Medical: Pharmaceuticals Skin disease
Hello

"Underhåll" is used in the sense of stopping the skin disease from breaking out again or reoccurance after treatment so it's like "post-control"

But I don't know the right term. There is no context other than "applied once a week" to achieve this.

Thanks

@ all Hello
I later had "underhållsdosen" and this term was much easier to find than just "underhåll". It was "maintenance dose" so "maintenance" is indeed correct here
see for instance: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maintenance_therapy

maintenance/chronic/long-term (control)

There are a few options for this concept.
Maintenance is very common.
Chronic is less common but may be a neat contrast to acute therapy if that is also included.
Long-term treatment is another option, e.g. long-term asthma control medication.
Example sentence:

Long-term control medicines help you have fewer and milder attacks

Studies in the literature have highlighted factors that impact patient adherence to acute and chronic therapy

Peer comment(s):

agree Deane Goltermann : maintenance/control of a chronic condition is correct.

neutral Andrew Bramhall : "monitoring" sounds better than 'control' in my opinion. 'Surveillance' is wrong in this context.

post-treatment surveillance

Without any meaningful, surrounding context or object, the literal translation as maintenance seems to hang in mid-air and suspended animation. Otherwise, continuous monitoring vs. nursing obs. (observations).

In the law there may be only one right answer(Dworkin) though, in medicine, there may be two or more.
Example sentence:

Continuous monitoring in an inpatient medical-surgical unit: a controlled clinical trial

In this review, we discuss the established guidelines and current evidence regarding post-treatment surveillance,

Peer comment(s):

agree Elizabeth Ask : Or "continuing follow-up treatment", if this is supposed to be done even if there are no signs of new outbreaks.

management, future disease management

It sounds like the term in your context refers, as others have also postulated, to more long-term treatment which made me think that maybe management could be used.
Just a thought!
