I do apologise for being so quick in my judgment, but I had the impression that this was something really simple and easy. I did visit the University site before posting the question, but the truth is that 'Vrije' is not being translated. That is why I wanted to know if it is a name or not. This is not for a CV; one of the contributors of the book I am translating is working for VUA. I am translating into Greek, and unfortunately I know no Dutch at all, so I had to make sure I understand the meaning of the word. I suppose your suggestion would be that I should not translate it at all.
