Guardian of the marriage is a figure wer might not know inourculture. In my opinion this figure is equivalent to the Godfather inthe Christian Culture.

He consultado con mis amigos de India: la figura de un " Guardian marriage" es equivalente a la de padrino de boda, pero tiene un peso específico mucho mayor en la sociedad de India que en culturas occidentales. Yes, I agree: actually I am investigating why all my friends from India gave me that "Guardian marriage" instead of "marriage Guardian"; I will let you know that and also how do they say it in their local languages.
