Radiation Protection Ordinance
Radiation Protection Ordinance and X-Ray Ordinance
Whereas previous regulations only covered man-made radiation the new **Radiation Protection Ordinance (Strahlenschutzverordnung, StrlSchV)**, which entered into force on 1 August 2001, also includes raised levels of radiation from natural sources.
The new Radiation Protection Ordinance and the new X-Ray Ordinance (Röntgenverordnung, RöV) of 18 June 2002 reduce the exposure values for the population to 1 millisievert (mSv) per year.

a) Yes, perhaps it would be a good idea to "mix both up". Googling for "Röntgenverordnung für den Strahlenschutz" does not give any hit except your own question on Proz.
b) This is the closest bilingual reference I could come up with.
c) I would wait for more comments/answers to come in from colleagues in other time zones.

Note from asker:
Could I then mix both up and write something like: X-Ray Ordinance for radiation protection? Because the radiation protection ordinance according to your explanation is the "Strahlenschutzverordnung" and not the Röntgenverordnung (für den Strahlenschutz). |
