German term
Profil zeigen
German to English
Marketing
Advertising / Public Relations
soeben hat mich eine Kundin von einer Messebaufirma angerufen und mich gefragt,
wie man Profil zeigen sowohl im wörtlichen als auch im übertragenen Sinne im
Englischen ausdrücken könnte. Beispiel: Firma X zeigt Profil. Die Firma arbeitet
viel mit unterschiedlichen Strukturprofilen für Plakatständer, Vitrinen, Rahmen, usw.
Ich bin für jede Hilfe dankbar

making its mark
The "m&m" sound somehow rolls off the tongue well for "Profil zeigen."
Making your products and services stand out with excellent visuals...
etc.
It's like the others say--re-writing this without playing the word game is the only way to go.

Though there is some overlap, the usage of _profile_ in English differs substantially from the uses of _Profil_ in German.
I wouldn’t combine them in a single, identical expression but use or create separate expressions to suit context.
In the figurative sense (Profil zeigen), English expressions could range from differentiating the company to positioning itself to showing off its unique products/services.

highly profiled image
company image / company structure / outline
While "company profile" exists, this is usually more technical, in the sense of what they do, their structure etc. A profile often is a written document, a summarty or outline.
"Company image" is more a presentation of the "character". "Company structure" goes more in the diretcion of the organizational.
Strukturprofil = structiural profile.
Firma X zeigt Profil = Company X has a highly profiled image

Company X is showing profile
Although it may sound too literal, I think it still works, especially as a sort of pun when actual 'profile' is meant.
