isn't this a typo ? Explanation: I could be completely wrong, of course, but shouldn't this be 'Schmelztablette' ? Schmelz = enamel Schmeiz = apart from being a last name of a person, I wouldn't know what it is. Let's hope some German, Austrian,...colleagues can come up with something else/better. |

definitely a typo, but... Explanation: probably for Schmerztablette-painkiller or anodyne or analgesic pill; if it's a misspelling of Schmelztablette, the "schmelz" is probably not from enamel, which is almost exclusively used for tooth enamel, but from "schmelzen", meaning "melt". Hope that helps. |
