This phrase occurs in a list of items for cooks, "bolsa de plástico con papel albal (para la masa). "Albal" has me stumped!

It's 'aluminium foil'in English, i.e. for wrapping food up in, for the oven for example.

I wouldn't use the brand name to refer to it - it's may be meaningless to your readers (not to mention free publicity.....we pay enough for publicity and packaging as it is...)

Thanks for your help. All the answers were good and helpful, though I felt the product referred to was actually plastic film - it was for wrapping dough in to store it. However, I like you sentiments re the greed of the packaging industry so award you the points!
