Hi, I would like to know how long it takes for a posted job to be notified via email to members? I have noted several jobs that appeared as posted 1 to 5 hours before I received the email notification. Is that normal? Example: http://www.proz.com/job/55842 Posted: 7:49am the mail was sent: [Sent: Friday, May 28, 2004 9:52 AM] And now twice in a row jI ... Hi Paula, I will move this thread to the Jobs forum. First of all - just to make sure everyone is aware of it - the time shown on the site is UTC/GMT; i.e. currently 2 hours behind German DST. Also, quite a few jobs need to be vetted by jobs moderators before they become visible, and job notifications are sent. Jobs posted by Platinum members, as well as by certain other posters (depending on their average BlueBoard rating) are exempt from this vetting process, and go "live" straight away. Well, in this specific case, there appears to have been some confusion regarding the language pair (more specifically: the direction), as the job was reposted in the opposite direction two minutes later.
