I am a translator from Finland and I have lived in Germany since 1996. As my mother is Finnish and my father Swedish, I was brought up bilingual (my Swedish being a bit stronger, since I always studied in that language). Naturally I learnt English at school from the age of 9. My partner is a German journalist and we work as a team to produce perfect German translations. I have translated a wide variety of texts including many technical manuals. Although I am a technical specialist I am happy to take on general translations.
Ich bin Übersetzer aus Finnland und lebe seit 1996 in Deutschland. Meine Mutter ist Finnin und mein Vater Schwede, so dass ich zweisprachig aufgewachsen bin (wobei mein Schwedisch noch etwas besser ist als mein Finnisch, nachdem ich meine Ausbildung in Schwedisch absolviert habe). Meine deutsche Partnerin ist Journalistin, wir arbeiten bei Übersetzungen ins Deutsche zusammen. Ich übersetze hauptsächlich technische Handbücher, jedoch befasse ich mich als Übersetzer auch mit vielen anderen Themengebieten.
