The third Swiss symposium for literary translators will touch on topics related to the daily working routines of professionals. The 2011 symposium, which intends to be an opportunity for people to meet and exchange ideas, will focus on the issues of authors’ rights and reviews of literary translations in the media.

The symposium will take place on 16 September 2011 in Castelgrande, Bellinzone; it is co-organised by the Association of Swiss Authors (AdS) which also represents literary translators, the Swiss Cultural Foundation Pro Helvetia, the Translators House Looren, the Centre of Literary Translation Lausanne (CTL) and Festival Babel – a  festival on literature and translation in Bellinzone.
