project management by the architect Explanation: I don't think this is referring to just the management of the construction side of things, but to the entire project. According to the dictionary of building, a project manager is "a person appointed by a client to plan and control a large, complex project and coordinate the building team through all stages of design and constrcution" PROJECT MANAGEMENT. To succeed in the aspiration of a successful building project, effective project management by the architect is essential through all stages of design. Executive works manager Explanation: "Facultativo" de la obra. Es la persona que responde ante las autoridades si se comete un grave error de Ley en la construcción. El "arquitecto técnico" es "the works manager", pero por razones de clara diferenciación es mejor titularle "works supervisor" (y "works foreman" al "encargado de obra"). Lo de "Executive" se añade por su apoderamiento implícito ("empowerment implicit in the phrase Executive"). |
