I have a background in American Studies, English language, Interpretation and Translation, which I studied in three different countries of the world (in chronological order - Ukraine, United States, Kyrgyzstan).

Most of the time I work as a simultaneous interpreter at conferences, summits, roundtable meetings, seminars and training workshops organized by international organizations in various countries of Eurasia. I can also act as a consecutive interpreter, which is sometimes the best mode of interpretation during high-level talks or business negotiations.

When I have free time, I work at home doing written translations. I normally translate reports, legislative acts, legal reviews, conference/training materials, articles, programme documents and many other types of official papers.

My list of standing clients includes, but is not limited to, ADB, American University of Central Asia (AUCA), Demir Kyrgyz International Bank, DFID, DEA, EBRD, Embassy of Canada in Moscow, FAO, Freedom House, Government of Kyrgyzstan, ILO, IMF, International Science and Technology Center (ISTC), JICA, Johns Hopkins University, Karachaganak Petroleum Operating (KPO), Legal Policy Research Center (Kazakhstan), OSCE/ODIHR, OHCHR, OSCE, OSCE Academy in Bishkek, SIDA, Soros Foundation, The Welding Institute (TWI), UNAIDS, UNDP, UNHCR, UNICEF, UNIFEM, UNEP, UNODC, UNV, USAID, US Department of State, US Embassy in Kyrgyzstan, World Bank, World Resources Institute (WRI).

As far as written translations are concerned, the overwhelming majority of documents come from the OSCE, UN agencies, and USAID. In recent years, I've been focusing more on international law and legislation, as well as human rights protection.

My work also includes working with high-level officials, public administration bodies, courts, and law enforcement agencies. Such issues as trafficking in persons and drug trafficking have always been of utmost importance in Central Asia, which means continuous work with special investigation teams, prosecutors, undercover investigation agencies, counternarcotics departments, etc.

I am based, interchangeably, in two places which are Central Asia and Ukraine, and I often travel for work to South-East Asia.
