Anticiparse a la transformación de una realidad física es la esencia del proyecto arquitectónico. El proyecto se realiza a partir de la representación de aquello que aún no existe en un contexto real o ilusorio. No hay dudas que la relación entre proyecto y representación es directa. Pero la representación del espacio en la arquitectura es un problema complejo. Adquirir la capacidad de representación está asociado al desarrollo de la comprensión del espacio y sus propiedades: en un proceso mental abstracto se traslada propiedades físicas de un mundo tridimensional a otro bidimensional, mediante una interpretación de las propiedades materiales las que se reducen a simples esquemas geométricos codificados. La creación de las técnicas y los métodos de representación del espacio ha sido uno de los recursos más importantes en el desarrollo y evolución del pensamiento en la arquitectura y la cultura de occidente.
Podemos definir el acto de imaginar formas en el espacio como la búsqueda incesante de algo que aún no conocemos, como un esfuerzo por imprimir ese contenido desconocido en nuestra propia mente, una impresión de la cual no somos conscientes de haber recibido hasta que nos vemos confrontados súbitamente con la misma imagen que estamos buscando con nuestra mente consciente. Este es precisamente, el momento del descubrimiento en el que es posible construirla. Según Alfonso Corona Martínez, el acto de proyectar se nos presenta como un esfuerzo para elevar el contenido desconocido a una posición en la que puede ser identificado para luego ser reconocido y conceptualizado como contenido tangible, presentable en términos cognitivos. Es decir, como una descripción progresiva de un objeto que no existe al comenzar la descripción. De esta manera, el proceso de diseño lo concibe como una serie de transformaciones de un estado inicial caracterizado por un bajo nivel de información y un alto nivel de incertidumbre, hasta un estado final de alta información y baja incertidumbre. Como ya sabemos, entre el objeto de diseño y su imagen, media un complejo mecanismo de percepción, de ideación y de conocimiento difícil de encausar en simples procesos lógicos, lineales y previsibles. Pero no hay dudas, que la información adquirida, los datos manipulados, consciente o inconscientemente son clave y determinantes para el proceso creativo.

The essence of the architectural project is to anticipate the transformation of a physical reality. The project is carried out based on the representation of that which does not yet exist in a real or illusory context. There is no doubt that the relationship between project and representation is a direct one, although the representation of space in architecture is a complex problem. Acquiring representation abilities is associated with developing an understanding of space and its properties; the physical properties of a three-dimensional world are transferred to a two-dimensional one in an abstract mental process, through an interpretation of material properties that are reduced to mere codified geometrical schematics. The creation of techniques and representation methods of space was one of the most important resources in thought development and evolution in architecture and Western culture.
The act of imagining shapes in space can be defined as the incessant search for something we do not yet know, as an effort to etch this unknown content in our own minds, an etching we are not aware of until we are suddenly faced with the same image we are seeking with our conscious mind. This is precisely the moment of discovery in which it is possible to build it. According to Alfonso Corona Martínez, the act of projecting is understood as an effort to lift the unknown content to a position in which it can be identified, then recognised and conceptualised as a tangible concept that is presentable in cognitive terms; that is, as a progressive description of an object that does not exist when the description starts. In this way, the design process conceives it as a series of transformations from an initial state, characterised by a low level of information and a high level of uncertainty, to a final state of high information and low uncertainty. As we already know, a complex mechanism of perception, conception and knowledge mediates between the object of design and its image. This mechanism is hard to channel into simple logical, linear and predictable processes. However, there is no doubt that the acquired information and the manipulated data are, consciously or unconsciously, essential and decisive to the creative process.

En los casos límite, se reconoce el compromiso en la constitución de fronteras en el siquismo, lo que resulta en dificultades diagnósticas y en el manejo trasferencial. Proponemos que es la indiferencia del Otro lo que fomenta la negatividad reactiva encontrada en estos casos, haciendo que, en clínica, la presencia sensible del psicoanalista sea convocada para fomentar la experiencia del cuidado.
Translation - French Nous prétendons, dans cet article, indiquer la pertinence de la discussion sur la "limite" en psychanalyse. Dans les cas limites, on remarque l'engagement d'établir des limites au psychisme, ce qui aboutit en difficultés diagnostiques et en gestions de transferts. Nous proposons que c'est l'indifférence de l'Autre qui encourage la négativité réactive retrouvée dans ces cas, ce qui cause, en clinique, la convocation de la présence sensible du psychanalyste pour promouvoir l'expérience du soin.
