Source text - English 1. Definitions.
When used in this Agreement the following terms shall have the following respective meanings:
“Key Account Manager” (KAM) means a employee of XXX, in charge of the development of the relationship between XXX and XXX who shall be the main point of contact for XXX.
“KPI”, means Key Performance Indicator.
“Effective Date” means the date of the signing of this Agreement.
“Force Majeure” has the meaning ascribed under the FORCE MAJEURE provisions of this Agreement.
“Price List” means a list of amounts payable by XXX to XXX per tyre ordered as specified in Schedule 3 to the Framework Agreement effective 01 January 2006, all such amounts being exclusive of any taxes.
“TEU”, means Twenty Foot Equivalent Unit. This unit is commonly used in the port industry to measure the production of a port. When a 20 foot container is loaded onto a vessel it counts as 1 TEU, as is the case when such container is unloaded from a vessel. The loading or unloading of a 40 foot container shall be counted as two TEU.
“Tyres” means Industrial Tyres

En el contexto de este Contrato los términos siguientes tendrán los respectivos significados que a continuación se exponen:
Un “Gestor de Grandes Cuentas” (Key Account Manager en inglés) es un empleado de XXX a cargo del desarrollo de las relaciones entre XXX y XXX, quien deberá ser el principal punto de contacto para XXX.
“KPI” (Key Performance Indicator por su acrónimo en inglés), significa Indicador Clave de Desempeño.
“Fecha de Vigencia”, se trata de la fecha en la que se firma este Contrato.
El significado de “Fuerza Mayor” es el que se atribuye en las clausulas de FUERZA MAYOR de este Contrato.
“Lista de Precios” es una lista de cantidades que XXX pagará a XXX por neumático encargado según se especifica en el Anexo 3 del Contrato Marco vigente desde el 1 de enero de 2006, estando dichas cantidades exentas de impuestos.
“TEU” (acrónimo inglés), significa Unidad Equivalente a Veinte Pies (6,09 metros). Es una unidad base que se usa por lo general en la industria portuaria para medir la producción de un puerto. Cuando se carga un contenedor de 20 pies en un barco se cuenta como 1 TEU, lo mismo ocurre cuando el contenedor se descarga del barco. La carga o descarga de un contenedor de 40 pies se contabiliza como dos TEU.
