About Us
Willingjet is a specialized life science language service provider with over 20 years of experience supporting global pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and CRO clients. We provide medical translation, localization, and regulatory language solutions worldwide.
Requirements:
• Fluent in Japanese, English, and Chinese (written and spoken)
• Must be based in Japan
• Japanese nationality, Permanent Resident, or holder of a visa with unrestricted work authorization in Japan
• Experience in translation/localization project management
• Familiar with CAT tools, vendor management, and quality control processes
• Strong communication and client-facing skills
• Able to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Familiarity with medical, pharmaceutical, regulatory, or clinical trial content is preferred
• Experience building and managing Japanese linguist/vendor networks is a strong plus
Working Arrangement:
• Initial cooperation on a freelance / part-time basis
• Flexible workload depending on project volume
• Long-term collaboration preferred
• Potential transition to a full-time position for the right candidate
Responsibilities:
• Manage multilingual localization projects from quotation to delivery
• Coordinate translators, editors, and other linguistic resources
• Monitor schedules, budgets, and quality requirements
• Communicate with clients and internal stakeholders
• Resolve project-related issues proactively
