O ile w sieci łatwo można znaleźć wyjaśnienie typu:"
a brand name for a pocket-size, fixed-focus, snapshot camera", o tyle i tak niewiele mi to daje, bo w "moim" kontekście słowo to występuje jako przymiotnik i chodzi o typ/rodzaj/wygląd (??) ubrań, jakie ktoś sobie szyje:
"I like INSTAMATIC things.I'm in such a hurry that I never ude patterns. I might start off making a dress but (...) end up making a handkerchief."

Czy może chodzić o "nieskomplikowane", "proste"? Tekst jest z lat 60-tych, jeśli to miałoby pomóc...
