Incentive est l'ensemble des techniques de stimulation dont l’objectif est de développer puis entretenir la motivation de l’ensemble du personnel d’une entreprise. Il peut s’agir de réunions d’information, de jeux concours, de séminaires, de voyages, de cadeaux… Elle peut parfois être étendue aux consommateurs. Selon le contexte donc, il s'agit de méthodes de motivation de la force de vente (revendeurs) ou directement des clients (par l'offre de cadeaux en échange de l'achat d'un produit, de l'abonnement à une newsletter, etc.). Beaucoup de sociétés ont gardé le terme anglais, mais "incititatif" est également utilisé (et je le préfère, car il a le mérite d'être français !)
