It's not a Hebrew word

As far as I know, it's not a Hebrew word at all. However, people do say things like "aizeh mami" when looking at something extremely cute and adorable, like a kitten or puppy or baby. In Hebrew, aizeh means "what a," so "Aizeh mami" would be something like "What a sweety," or "what a cutie," or something of the sort.

agree Rachel Gruenberger-Elbaz : Basically I agree, I think it comes from the french "ma mie" and has been imported into Hebrew by francophone immigrants.

It certainly sounds more like French than like Hebrew. BTW, I know "ma" is my, but what's "mie"?
