I am wondering what does this word mean in Malay? Ch-yow this is the phonetic sound of the word. I do not know the actual spelling. I am wanting to know what the definition is.. thanks very much!

I'm guessing it's actually "ciao" ("goodbye"). If the person said it when he/she was leaving or going somewhere else, he/she probably meant to say goodbye.
It could also mean "I'm leaving" (Aku nak ciao) or "Let's go" (Jom ciao) depending on how it was said in Malay.
"Ciao" is Italian, but this word has somehow become hip slang in English and Malay too.
