O edifício da Câmara Municipal é de estilo barroco e de sóbria elegância da última década do século XVIII, com a fachada dividida em cinco corpos toscanos, sendo a parte central, de quatro pilastras, denominada pela torre sineira. Um frontão enquadra as armas de Aveiro. No interior, revela-se o gabinete presidencial revestido com agradáveis painéis de azulejo e o salão nobre, enriquecido na década de 40.

This building is from the last decade of the XVIII century .This baroque style building has a façade divided in five main bodies, where the central part is the most important with its bell. In the interior, the most important rooms are the presidential, covered with tiles and the noble room which was enriched in the 40's.
