neutral Peter Linton (X) : To me, an asset manager in property looks after existing properties; is not an investent manager (placeringschef) in new investments. Or am I mistaken - two sandwiches short of a picnic? And what is this question doing in Swedish->English?

I missed out here. Peter's comment is of course very valid; I thought you were looking for something in swedish.

the difference, as far as I can tell, is that "asset manager" in a swedish environment relates more to financial institutions in general, not necessarily those related to property. in that context "placeringschef" is an adequate translation, but as Peter noticed, that's probably not what you are looking for here..

hmmm, sometimes I'm not particulary observant..
