Ödüllü Müze
2 adet Unesco Dünya Kültür Mirasına sahip olan Edirne’de, Sultan II. Bayezıd Külliyesi Sağlık Müzesi ödüllü müze olarak bilinir.
Müze 2004 yılında Avrupa Konseyi Avrupa Müze Ödülünü, 2007 yılında ise Avrupa Kültür Mirası Mükemmellik Kulübü En iyi Sunum Ödülünü kazanmıştır.
Edirne’de, ikinci Beyazıt Külliyesi’nin Darüşşifa ve Tıp medresesi yapıları içinde hizmet veren, Trakya Üniversitesi bünyesindeki müze, Külliye içinde 1488'den beri yer alan darüşşifa (hastane), 1877-1878 Osmanlı-Rus Savaşı’na kadar aralıksız 400 yıl boyunca önceleri her türlü hastaya; sonraları sadece ruh ve akıl hastalarına hizmet vermiş bir sağlık kuruluşudur. Geçmişte hastalarının müzik, su sesi ve güzel kokularla tedavi edildikleri bu tarihi mekân, 1997 yılından bu yana Trakya Üniversitesi tarafından sağlık müzesi olarak düzenlenmiş, 2000 yılında Darüşşifa’nın Şifahane kısmı Ruh Hastalarını Readaptasyon Derneği’nin katkılarıyla Psikiyatri Tarihi Müzesi haline getirilmiştir. Ayrıca Külliyenin bir parçası olan ve Darüşşifanın yanında yer alan tıp medresesi de 2008 yılında müzenin 15. yüzyılda tıp eğitimini sergileyen bir bölümü olarak hizmete açılmıştır.
Müzede, hekimliğin gelişmesi ve değişik sağlık hizmetleri hakkında geniş bilgiler içeren pavyonlar bulunur. Şehrin turizm hayatına önemli bir katkısı vardır, Selimiye Camii’nin ardından Edirne’de en çok ziyaret edilen ikinci mekândır.

In Edirne, which has 2 Unesco World Culture Heritage Sites, Sultan II. Beyazid Complex and Health Museum is known as an awarded museum.
In 2004, the museum has won Council of Europe’s Europe Museum Award and in 2007 the Best Presentation Award of Europe Culture Heritage Excellence Club.
In Edirne, within Trakya University, the museum is a foundation that services in II. Beyazid Complex of Darüşşifa and Medicine School. It serviced for all kind of patient at first and afterwards only for mental disordered patients continuously 400 years from 1488 to 1877-1878 Ottoman-Russia War. This historical site, where patients were treated with music, water and scents in the past, has been arranged as a health museum by Trakya University from 1997 and Şifahane part of Darüşşifa has been transformed in Psychiatry History Museum with the contributions of Association of Mental Disordered Patients Re-adaptation, in 2000. Also, health school, a part of the Complex and Darüşşifa (Hospital), has been put into service in 2008 as a part of museum that presents medical education of 15th Century. In the museum, there are pavilions these give information about development of medicine and other health services. The Complex is the second visited site after Selimiye Mosque, in Edirne.
