Source text - Arabic General provision as to notification of claims
(i) In the event of any occurrence which may give rise to a claim against the Company, the Customer shall within twenty-four (24) hours of such occurrence lodge a police report and shall inform the Head Office of the Company in writing by registered post within three (3) days of such an occurrence, furnishing the Company a copy of the police report and all particulars relevant to the said occurrence and in particular of any loss or damage.
(ii) Any claim by the Customer against the Company must, in any event, be made in writing by registered post against the Company within seven (7) days of such occurrence giving rise to the claim.
(iii) In the event, the Customer should fail to strictly comply with the provisions of clause 8(i) and 8(ii) herein then the Customer shall be deemed to have abandoned such claim against the Company and the Company shall not be responsible in any circumstance or to any extent whatsoever.
Translation - English أحكام عامة بشأن للإخطار بالمطالبات
ذ- في حالة حدوث أي حادثة قد تؤدي إلى رفع دعوى ضد الشركة، يجب علي العميل في غضون أربع وعشرين (24) ساعة من حدوث ذلك تقديم تقرير شرطة وإبلاغ المكتب الرئيسي للشركة كتابيًا عن طريق البريد المسجل في غضون ثلاثة (3) أيام من حدوث ذلك، تزويد الشركة بنسخة من تقرير الشرطة وجميع التفاصيل ذات الصلة بالحدث المذكور ولا سيما أي خسارة أو ضرر.
(i) في حالة حدوث دعوي يجب أن تتم الدعوي من العميل ضد الشركة خطيًا بواسطة البريد المسجل في غضون سبعة (7) أيام من حدوث تلك الدعوي.
(ii) في حالة عدم امتثال العميل لأحكام البند 8 (i) و 8 (ii) من هذه الاتفاقية، يعتبر العميل قد تخلى عن هذه الدعوي ضد الشركة ولا تتحمل الشركة أي مسؤولية في أي ظرف أو أي مكان.
