Dear All
You all must have noticed that for the last few days the board of directors have been holding meetings regularly. The reason for these discussions is that of late we have found that office timings are not being adhered to. The leniency is resulting in lethargy. Therefore we have now come up with this new Adherence Policy as per details listed below:
a). The office timings with immediate effect will be 9:00AM to 5:30PM
b). There will be a half an hour lunch break from 1:00PM to 1:30PM
c). A card swipe system has been installed at all office entries. The machines will record the time at which each of us enters the office premises
d). There will only be a 5-minute window of late coming
e). Anyone coming after the 5-minute late coming window will be marked a red dot
f). Three such red dots will result in deduction of leave for one day
g). Any violation of this policy may result in the employee being suspended for one week or more
We hope you will understand the reasoning behind this policy and will give us all your support in implementing it. We sincerely hope that we will not have to follow the drastic violations on anyone.

Source text - English The boss of Electronic Arts (EA) has denied there is any link between video game content and "actual violence".
John Riccitiello spoke out on the subject during a conference call with bank analysts following his firm's latest earnings forecast.
But he acknowledged that his industry did face a "perception issue".
The topic has become the focus of political debate in the US following shootings in a Connecticut school and a Colorado cinema.
After the incidents, the National Rifle Association (NRA) - which itself had been accused of culpability - said the video game industry sowed "violence against its own people".
Republican congresswoman Diane Franklin subsequently proposed a sales tax on violent titles, saying the money should be used to "finance mental health programs and law enforcement measures to prevent mass shootings".
Former Green Party presidential candidate Ralph Nader went further, accusing games publishers of being "electronic child molesters" and demanded regulation.

I'm looking forward to improve myself as a translator in the language pairs English-Spanish and Spanish-English. I'm a current student at the National University of the Littoral in Santa Fe, Argentina. I'm studying a Professorship in Philosophy, and Literary and Technical-Scientific Translator at the Superior Professorship Institute Nº8 "Alte. Guillermo Brown".
I'm currently working as a volunteer for two NGOs in the USA, Toxic Free North Carolina and Mongabay.com; Performing transcriptions from audio interviews in Spanish and then translating them into English for ToxicFreeNC, related to the current EPA's Workers Protection Standard (WPS) for Agriculture Pesticides; And translating English articles into Spanish for Mongabay.com about the rainforests in the Amazon for their Latin American website.
My wish is to become a half-time translator, for now, and start making profit of this activity that I found fascinating in both entertainment and intellectual enrichment. Hopefully in the future I could become a full time translator working my best for an agency, or even as a freelance!
